Creating a harmonious workplace conducive for higher staff productivity has always been difficult due to different personalities, values and perceptions. This challenge has exacerbated with the increased workforce diversity in generation gaps, nationalities and culture.

This course incorporates DISC personality profiling and participants will be trained in people reading and relationship skills, conflict management, teambuilding and managing diversity, to turn barriers into bridges and build a cohesive team at work.

1. Funding is subject to trainee’s eligibility, pending final notification from SkillsFuture Singapore.
2. Trainees receiving funding are responsible to fulfill attendance and assessment requirements.
3. YEC reserves the right to bill the trainee the full course fee if their funding for the course is not approved by SkillsFuture Singapore.
4. Eligible to use SkillsFuture credits to offset course fees


Registration for courses funded by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) are subjected to further suitability and eligibility checks by both SSG and YMCA Education Centre (YEC).

Entry requirements:

1. A minimum of 3 years working experience
2. At least 1 year at mentoring or supervisory or managerial level in leading and managing teams
3. Good spoken and written English communication skills
4. Education Level:

  • 3 GCE ‘O’ Level passes including English OR
  • Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5 OR
  • Higher Nitec in a relevant industry

Trainees are required to be able to speak, listen, read, and write in the course of work using English as the main language of communication.

The assumed skills, knowledge and attitudes for this programme are:

1. Good analytical and communication skills
2. Good digital literacy skills with word processing and presentation tools
3. Deep domain expertise and industry knowledge
