This module seeks to equip leaders and managers with the knowledge, attitudes and skills to foster the best practices in facilitating innovation and driving change initiatives.

Learners will have opportunities to learn to form a guiding team to implement change, develop a change vision and communication strategy for buy-in, promote enterprising behaviour and risk-taking, apply systems thinking to support growth, and foster a learning organisation.

Admission

Registration for courses funded by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) are subjected to further suitability and eligibility checks by both SSG and YMCA Education Centre (YEC).

Entry requirements:

1. A minimum of 3 years working experience
2. At least 1 year at mentoring or supervisory or managerial level in leading and managing teams
3. Good spoken and written English communication skills
4. Education Level:

  • 3 GCE ‘O’ Level passes including English OR
  • Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5 OR
  • Higher Nitec in a relevant industry

Trainees are required to be able to speak, listen, read, and write in the course of work using English as the main language of communication.

The assumed skills, knowledge and attitudes for this programme are:

1. Good analytical and communication skills
2. Good digital literacy skills with word processing and presentation tools
3. Deep domain expertise and industry knowledge
